The book is dedicated to the fate of representatives of Russian white emigration and artistic creativity, which developed in the emigrant environment away from the homeland. In the center of the story is the hussar officer Konstantin Podushkin (1897-1969), who became a professional artist in exile and established the production of charitable cards of patriotic content, widely known in the Russian diaspora abroad.
The book contains a catalog of all cards issued by K.N. Pyatshkin.
