The collection considers the theoretical and methodological problems of studying various forms of dialogue as a special type of intercultural and inter-cyvilizal communication associated with the creative assimilation of “other people"s” traditions that actively affect the process of cultural self-identification, adaptive capabilities and the pace of development of civilization as a whole. A special section is devoted to the features of dialogue in various historical eras, between different civilizations and cultures, civilizations and the barbaric world, large regions (East-Russia-West), as well as a dialogue between modern, traditional and archaic layers in modern culture
