The training manual presents the most significant aspects of the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of students with visual impairment (blind and visually impaired children), the psychophysiological features of the development of such children, determining their special educational needs, described special educational conditions for their education and options for organizing inclusive education, taking into account the structure of the available violations and based on the requirements for the content, results and conditions for the implementation of the correctional and educational process of learning, regulated by the Federal State Educational Standard of the NOO students with disabilities.
The manual includes lists of regulatory documentation and educational literature, as well as a dictionary of terms, the knowledge of which may need the teacher when working with children with visual impairment.
