The manual briefly tells about hearing impairments, the features of perception and development of speech in children with varying degrees of hearing loss, modern methods of rehabilitation of children with hearing impairments. The device of hearing aids and cochlear implants, FM systems, features of auditory perception and development of speech of hearing impaired and deaf children who use modern memo-prosthetics are described. The conditions favorable for the training and upbringing of children with auditory apparatuses and cochlear implants are considered. Recommendations are presented for teachers on the organization of the necessary conditions for the education and education of such children in preschool and school educational institutions.
