The collection of articles "Mountains of the Caucasus and the Mesopotamian steppe at the dawn of the Bronze Age" is dedicated to the anniversary of the outstanding Russian archaeologist, the laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, the correspondent of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the doctor of historical sciences, Professor Rauf Magomedovich Munchaev. The significant contribution of Rauf Magomedovich in the study of the era of the late primitiveness of the Caucasus and the front East was recognized as the professional community of archaeologists around the world. This collection reflects the circle of scientific interests of the hero of the day and covers the temporary interval from the Neolithic era to the era of early bronze in a wide belt from the steppes of the Test Caucasia to Southern Mesopotamia.
