The training manual reveals the theoretical, methodological, regulatory and socio-humanistic foundations of the work system for career guidance and socialization of students with complex developmental disabilities, the history of the formation of ideas about career guidance in Russian and foreign science and practice. Psychological and pedagogical characteristics of students with complex disorders and conditions are represented, ensuring the successful mastery of an accessible profession, labor skills. A description of the procedure for career guidance diagnostics aimed at studying the capabilities of the child with complex disorders to master the profession. An assessment of the level of formation of labor, posofessional and professional knowledge and skills is given. The possible degrees of mastery of various types of labor, professional activities and options for employment of persons with complex developmental disabilities have been determined. For the first time, variable models of the work on career guidance and socialization of students with complex disorders and the content of psychological and pedagogical support of their families in the process of career guidance are presented.
