About the author
Herbert Renz-Polster was born in 1960 to the suburbs of Stuttgart, Germany.
In 1979 he graduated from a gymnasium, then medical faculties in Gissen, Munich and Tubingen, defended his doctoral dissertation in Pakistan and India.
Immediately after this passed 4-year training in the editorial case in the publishing house of medical literature. From 1995 to 2002, the Renz Polster was held an internship for pediatrics, was engaged in research in the United States, and received a prize for research in the field of epidemiology of allergic diseases.
Since 2002, Renz-Polster has conducted private pediatric practice, also working in the ambulance children"s department. Since 2006, he has been a researcher at the Mannheimer Institute of Public Health (Haydelberg University with the main research activity of health in childhood ".
Herbert Renz-Polster is the author of many popular science books and reference books for parents on children"s development and health.
