Professor Karl Brish, psychiatrist, psychotherapist and researcher of the theory of affection, first showed in practice how the theory of John Bowlby can be used in counseling and psychotherapy. He called this direction bindung psychotherapy - an approach that can be both independent and additional tools in the work of specialists. The possibilities of bindung psychotherapy in work with all age groups - from infant problems to difficulties of adulthood - Professor Brisch devoted a series of books "Consulting and therapy based on the theory of affection."
The second book of the series - "Infant and early Age" - is devoted to the development of affection in the first three years of life. The author describes in detail the various problems that arise at this age: the fear of parting, loss in early childhood, addiction to ashes, rivalry between children, etc. Many examples show how different symptoms in children are correlated with life history and early childhood experience of affection in their parents. The methods of psychotherapeutic assistance are described, focused on the formation of attachment, as well as various approaches, including injuries and the diagnosis and therapy of interaction based on video recordings.
The book is intended for everyone who works with parents, babies and children of a young age: pediatricians, doctors of a common profile, midwives, nurses and nannies, psychiatrists and psychotherapists working with children, adolescents and adults, psychologists, consultants, social workers, social workers, social workers teachers, defectologists, medical physical education specialists, educators and spiritual mentors, as well as parents themselves
