The book is dedicated to the well -known graphics of Leo Zbarsky (1931–2016) His work is considered in the context of the book art of the era of the thaw. One of the chapters is devoted to years of study at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. The works of L. Zbarsky in the field of theatrical and decorating art and animated cinema are considered. The artist participated in the design of about 100 books, albums, series. Its illustrations, samples of artistic design and drawn font are analyzed. The participation of L. Zbarsky in exhibitions and art competitions of the book is shown. The publication uses numerous literary sources, as well as some archival documents. The book is complemented by articles about L. Zbarsky V. Krasnovsky and B. Messerer, as well as a catalog of publications with the participation of the artist.
