This publication is an album -catalog of the exhibition "Lev Ivanovich Kil: profession - military, vocation - artist." Prepared by the State Museum A.S. Pushkin, with the participation of the largest artistic, historical and literary museums, archives and libraries of Russia, the state art meetings of Dresden and private collectors, the project continues the cycle of exhibitions and publications telling about the work of masters of the chamber portrait of the first half of the 19th century.
