IN. Pigulevsky considers the basic concepts and elements of art, tracking the transformation of his understanding from elitist concepts to the theory of art as a social institution. The main subject of art is man and his creative possibilities, therefore, understanding of art involves the constant expansion of the cognitive horizon. The author characterizes the aesthetics of manipulation with objects and actions of people in reality as an art practitioner. Such a model of "art" does not fit into traditional definitions. It is such a non -standard approach to art that distinguishes this book. After all, products of such art can become, but may not become a "artistic event", or a real work.
