Architecture of Southern Spain of the Baroque era. The formation of a national style

In the monograph for the first time in domestic art history, an attempt is made to make a holistic idea of ​​the architecture of Southern Spain of the Baroque era. Its basis is a detailed historical and art history analysis of the architecture of Andalusia of the New Age. The author developed a new system of classification of architecture monuments as a single historical picture of the formation of the Baroque style from its origins of the royal court of Madrid to the heyday of the “lush” Andaluz Baroque.
The contrast of the architecture of Western and Eastern Andalusia with their cultural centers in Granad and Seville are considered as two lines of style development, where the originality of provincial art, the unity of the plastic language and its diversity in the current cultural and historical space were most embossed.
