Based on the analysis of the current situation of the functioning of leisure centers, the author made an attempt to develop their functional planning structure, collect illustrative materials and regulatory requirements on this topic, as well as give some advice on the design of new types of preschool institutions. The monograph is written on the basis of a ten -year personal experience of working with preschool children in such institutions. The theme of the "leisure center for babies and parents" within the framework of the experiment for several years (since 2005) has been tested by the Department of Architectural Design of Uralgakha on the terminal projects of the 3rd and 4th courses on the topics: "Small public building" (3rd The course) and the "large public building" (4th year).
