The work based on current trends in the development of information systems from the standpoint of a systematic approach sets out theoretical and practical issues of architecture of their construction. A characteristic of the evolution of applications and platform technologies is given, the classification of information systems and models of their presentation is given, the problems of conceptual modeling of information systems and existing architectural styles of their design are considered in detail.
From the standpoint of accumulated domestic and foreign experience, the issues of solving the problems of designing information systems using patterns and frames, component technology, service-oriented technologies, portal technologies for the implementation of information systems have been investigated. The theoretical material presented in the textbook is accompanied by examples of architectural solutions taken from the practice of designing information systems.
