The architectural guide recreates the reality of Samara (Kuibyshev) of the 1920-1940s - the period of formation of monuments of architecture of constructivism. Previously, the publication of this volume and information density on this topic did not work out. Architects Vitaliy Samorov, Anatoly Sinelnik and Valentin Pastushenko, who are the authors of the publication, for a long time carefully and painstakingly mastered the turns of the streets, the prospects of space, the details of the facades and secrets of the layouts, opening the new data, correcting the existing information and adding newly open facts.
The book opens with a common introductory text, telling about the era and urban planning of Samara of the period 1920-1940. Each of 11 pedestrian routes begins with a small essay dedicated to the main topic of the route. Descriptions of objects are accompanied by biographies of architects, engineers, politicians, historical certificates, fragments of documents and literary works that allow you to more fully imagine the image of the era
