The publication was prepared on the basis of many years of experience in the field of coloristic forming in the framework of the professional activities of authors at the Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy), introduces the features of various methods, means and technologies of volumetric modeling on the material of works of plastic arts. The textbook discusses the basics of colorism, various color theories and color systems, shows the possibilities of coloristic shaping, including taking into account the use of digital technologies. In an affordable form, a methodology for performing practical exercises explaining the mechanisms of form formation using polychromia, the possibility of creating a new plastic form based on painting of the late 19th-early 21st century.
