Amor Legendi, or Miracle of Russian Literature

The collection of scientific works of Peter Tyrgen covers a wide range of research interests of the author in the field of Russian literature - from the epic poem M.M. Kheraskova Russia before the story of I.A. Bunin Mr. from San Francisco. It included the translations of the work of a German scientist, previously published in Russian periodicals, performed specifically for this publication. The collection consists of three sections reflecting the main directions of the scientific activity of P. Tyrgen: the section “History of Russian literature”, dedicated to individual works by M.M. Kheraskova, A.S. Pushkin, N.V. Gogol, I.S. Turgenev, N.S. Leskova, A.P. Chekhova, I.A. Bunina, a special section about the work of I.A. Goncharova (P. Tiergen is one of the most famous German pottery), the section “History of Russian concepts”, which studies “keywords of culture”. The book completes the list of scientific works of the author. The publication is addressed to philologists, literary scholars, culturalists, but it will also be interesting to a wide circle of readers.
