The workbook is part of the educational and methodological kit on the algebra of authors Yu. N. Makarycheva, N. G. Mindyuk, K. I. Nashkov, S. B. Suvorova, edited by S. A. Telikovsky (15th, finalized, and subsequent publication).
The workbook includes 30 works compiled to all the points of the textbook, with the exception of additional points under the heading "for those who want to know more". Each work consists of two sections marked with numbers I and II. The first section contains simple tasks that contribute to the assimilation of the informed concepts and algorithms, the formation of fundamental skills, the establishment of new material connections with the previously studied. The second section includes more complex tasks, the solution of many of which requires free ownership of the formed knowledge and skills, manifestation of intellectual flexibility and mobility.
Exercises presented in the working notebook are diverse in the form of presentation. Students are invited to complete the started solution, set some compliance by illustrating it with the help of the arrows, select the correct answer, circled the corresponding number, etc. The presence of prepared tables drawn by the coordinate system, some explanations for the preparation of equations or systems of equations, etc. . Creates prerequisites for the intensification of the educational process.
