This manual fully complies with the Federal State Educational Standard (Second generation).
The authors proposed a variety of exercises on all topics set forth in the textbook, contributing to the formation of universal educational actions (UUD) among students: the search and highlighting the necessary information, conscious and arbitrary construction of speech utterance in oral and written form, analysis, synthesis, choice grounds and criteria for comparison, analysis of the truth of statements, proof, independent creation of ways to solve problems of a creative and search nature, planning educational cooperation with peers.
In accordance with the functions in UUD, four groups are identified: 1) Personal, 2) cognitive, 3) regulatory, 4) communicative. According to the Federal State Educational Standard, the formation of UUD should be the purpose of learning and created when students mastering each subject area, taking into account its specifics.
The workbook is saturated with tasks involving attracting information to solve them, the search for which is solved by students in grade 7. Fascinating tasks affect a wide range of knowledge, contain a solid mathematical basis, and require ingenuity.
