Antonina Fedorovna Sofronova (1892-1966) was a student of Fedor Rerberg and Ilya Mashkova. Participated in exhibitions of the Association "Diamond Valet" and "World of Art". In 1919-1920, drawing in Orel and Tver taught. Since 1921 she lived in Moscow, was engaged in a book illustration. In 1931, Antonina Sofronova, getting closer to Tatyana Mavrina, Nikolai Kuzmin, Daniil Daran and other artists who sought to "draw at the pace of life", participated in the 3rd exhibition of the Thirteen group.
