The book sets out physical, calculation-theoretical and technical issues of designing the simplest, at first glance, adaptive optical systems-tilt correction systems. Comparative ideological simplicity of the considered systems is quite complicated by the mass of parts and subtleties that must be taken into account when developing specific applications. The results of experimental studies are given.
The problems of measuring the angles of inclination of light waves are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the observation of low -contrast signals using matrix receivers.
Using the example of the tilt correction system, a new class of adaptive optics is highlighted - resonant adaptive optics.
The book is intended for specialists in the field of optics, electronics and accurate instrumentation. It may be useful to scientists, graduate students and senior students of universities of the corresponding specialties
