Vladimir Ivanovich Nemirovich-Danchenko (1858–1943)-the famous director, teacher, one of the founders (together with K.S. Stanislavsky) of the Moscow Art Theater. Until the end of his life, he headed the Moscow Art Theater, was his director and artistic director. It was Nemirovich-Danchenko that the merit of the discovery of the Chekhov drama belongs: in 1898 he, the playwright known at that time, managed to persuade his close friend A.P.
