The proposed book by E. N. Vinarskaya sets out considerations about the current state of speech therapy - the most important and most promising area of interdisciplinary knowledge, which today experiences violent, but, unfortunately, according to the author, only extensive growth. For qualitatively substantial intensification of development, she needs material investments, qualified personnel and creative innovations as air.
Mother of the author O. V. Pravdin - one of the first domestic speech therapists - a student of F. A. Rau and Yu. A. Florenskaya. While still a student of a medical university E. N. Vinarskaya was aware of speech therapy problems and was fond of neurological riddles of the clinic of Afaziy. Having worked for 6 years a neuropathologist of a medical and pedagogical consultation of the Research Institute of Defectology, 12 years old by a neurosurgical clinic as a neuropsychological laboratory of A. R. Luria, protecting the doctoral dissertation on the problem of neurolinguistic analysis of “afferent motor aphasia” and having given many lectures on speech theme linguists, psychologists and speech therapists, she ends her professional path in the field of special pedagogy by the consultant of the institution for children with severe speech disorders. The extensive experience of the author’s professional activity formed the basis of the proposed publication.
