“The ABC of Imazhinism” is a brief but capacious guide for the history of the rebellious literary movement associated with the names of Sergei Yesenin, Anatoly Mariengof, Vadim Shershenevich, Alexander Kusikov and others. This “poetic gang” stood at the origins of modern actionism, competed with leading artistic movements time, entered into the fight against state institutions, shuttered the layman and earned well on such self -promotion, as well as on the publication and sale of books. The goal of the ABC is to give basic information about various aspects of the activity of poets-Imazhinists and to arouse in the reader a curiosity for the life and creativity of the once main hooligans of Moscow and their followers in other cities.
