"Poem without a hero" Anna Akhmatova, on which she worked for a quarter of a century, is one of the most mysterious works of Russian literature. The names and events are encrypted in it, not knowing about which, the reader is unlikely to be able to penetrate into the depths of the text and understand his true meaning.
The outstanding actress Alla Demidova, who more than once performed Akhmatova’s works from the stage, was carried away by the unraveling of the secretary poem. The actress admits that she sought many materials through her memory: letters, diary entries by Akhmatova herself, her poems, memories and comments of her contemporaries.
