Many writers, philosophers, poets tried to penetrate the secret of human being. Fedor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (1821 - 1881) managed to approach her closer than others. This shows this collection of thoughts of the great Russian writer, presented in the form of texts-toy from his artistic and journalistic works, critical articles, letters, draft records, as well as memoirs of different persons. In none of the previously published books about the writer, the views of the Dostoevsky-submarine at the mission of the Russian people in history, on European civilization, Orthodoxy and Catholicism, socialism and communism, the problems of Russian society and all mankind as a whole were not collected in such a fullness. That is why it can serve not only an interesting book for reading, but also a kind of encyclopedia of Dostoevsky’s thoughts for many readers.
