In this book, the founder of object-oriented ontology develops his idea that aesthetics is the main discipline of philosophy. If science should strive to grasp the observable qualities of an object, then philosophy and art cannot follow this path because they do not have direct access to objects. Therefore, philosophy, like art, is forced to speak indirectly, through allusions, without using clear propositional expressions, which are often mistakenly considered the sole content of true philosophy.
