The second issue of the almanac contains articles and reports on the genealogy of the aristocratic dynasties of Orbelian and Hasan-Jalalyan, the lineage of Ovanes Tumanyan, the families of Darmenia and Darmanin, the Majars, as well as the residents of the village of Karkhad. The problems of studying the genealogy of Armenians in Moldova and Molokans in Armenia are discussed. The almanac publishes a significant body of sources on the genealogy of Artsakh: chamber descriptions of Armenian villages in Elisavetpol district in 1817 and settlements of Banants, Voskanapat, and Nukzar in 1831, lists of parishioners of the Shusha church in Aguletsots in 1834, heads of families in Karabakh villages in 1849, family lists of priests of the Artsakh and Tatev eparchies in 1836-37, etc. The planned series of publications on the genealogy of Agulis continues with a chamber description from 1842. Among other materials in the issue are articles dedicated to necropolistics and heraldry, reviews of materials on Armenian genealogy in the archives of France and the State Archive of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, information on past genealogical events and new literature, etc.
