In 2014, the Murzilka children"s magazine turned 90 years old. Over the years of its existence, the magazine was published continuously, even in the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War. When studying the archive of Murzilka, it became clear why the magazine can rightfully be called a long -liver and why it is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as “a journal for children with the longest term of the publication”. Throughout its history, the Murzilka magazine was and remains not only a publication for children, but also a reliable document that reflects the main milestones of the country"s development, an invaluable collection of excellent illustrations, a huge repository of works of the best masters of the word and remarkable samples of graphic design and font art .
The first volume of three -volume anthology includes works that were printed in the magazine Murzilka from 1924 to 1954. The second volume of anthology entitled “The Golden Age of Murzilka” covers the period from 1955 to 1974, the third volume - “Friend for all times” - contains works published in the journal from 1975 to 2014. The first volume of the “Murzilka archive” includes three books, the second and third - two.
The project “Archive of Murzilka” was fully developed by the Publishing house “Trimag” based on materials published in the journal for 90 years of its existence, and involves the release of various printed publications, and not only.
These are not just collections of works. The magazine has always actively covered the events of the country"s life. Based on this, in anthology, not only entertaining, but also cognitive materials will be given: the events of history reflected in children"s works, the pictures of everyday life, characteristic illustrations, etc. In the conditions of a modern deficiency of cognitive literature, this will be all the more valuable! In addition, children"s works on household topics contain a lot of unique information about the material and spiritual culture of different periods of the history of the USSR. Therefore, the materials in anthology will be located in chronological order, with the indication of the year, the issue of the magazine and other auxiliary information, which allows to correctly correlate publications with the history of our country
