The study for the first time systematically considers the scientific foundations of the territorial and urban planning policy of the prospective development of monoprophic cities, the significance of monoprophic cities in the modern economy of the region and the state is shown, the features and potential of their territorial and urban planning development at different levels of management are established. New directions and general principles for the formation of the territorial and urban planning policy of the development of monoprophic cities at the national and regional levels of management have been proposed.
Consideration of the issues of the issue is carried out on the example of the Ural economic macro -region, on the country"s scale of the most represented by the city of the monoprophilic type.
Research results are focused on a wide range of managers working in the field of cities and can be used as the basis for the formation of the territorial and urban planning policy of Russia and programs for sustainable development of its territories, as well as to be a city economic basis for the mechanisms of the integrated development of the territories of the Ural region, Used by specialists in the development of urban planning documentation and in the educational process of the higher education system
