The manual discusses the design features, classification and selection of electrical equipment, tools for power and low -current house electrical systems, issues related to the proper electrical installation and maintenance of electric networks, lighting equipment of apartment buildings. The device, design and calculation of various grounding devices, the procedure for choosing protective devices of housing and communal services are considered. The maintenance and typical technological processes for repairing equipment of low-current and power electrical systems, as well as the characteristics of testing and the rules for the safe operation of these systems in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation, are described.
