The problems of the efficiency and quality of drying of lumber, methods for determining quality parameters and the rational values of their indicators are considered. The results of long -term studies of drying technology of lumber in cameras of various types are given. Technologies are proposed to ensure high quality lumber with sufficient efficiency of the drying process. Recommendations are given on the practical use of research results in industry.
