This training manual proposes an algorithm for the development of project documentation for the specialty 08.02.01 taking into account the new Federal State Educational Standard of 01/10/2018. In it, after a brief review of architectural styles, the requirements for buildings and structures, and their voluminous solutions, the main attention is paid to the preparation, composition and execution of the course project. One of the options for the implementation of the course project of the civilian building in a volume that allows solving engineering problems to draw up a calendar schedule of work, the design of the construction plan and SFR, adhering to all the requirements of the NTD. The manual proposes information for reflection, the application forms a dictionary of buildings architecture, the words are given - descriptors in Russian and English, search file for drawing up a calculation -explanatory note, specifications, statements and tables of course and diploma projects. A list of normative technical and educational literature is given. The book opens up opportunities to perform an analysis of the decisions made by calculating the values ​​of the following building coefficients: compactness, density of development, glazing, thermal losses, optimizing topography of apartments on the floor and minimizing the perimeter of the walls. In addition to this book, it is planned to publish a manual that will include issues of designing industrial buildings, various tasks, tests.
