The third book of the Series of the Architectural Heritage of Russia is devoted to the outstanding representative of the Public School of Historns - Sergey Ustinovich Solovyov (1859 - 1912) The talented architect, he left a bright footprint in the architectural life of Moscow, held the post of inspector and temporarily acting director of the Stroganovsky school, consisted of the Commission on the preservation of ancient monuments. The most famous works of Sergei Ustinovich include the Stroganov School, charitable institutions. Medvednikov and Rachmanova on Big Kaluga Street, Commercial Institute and Building of Moscow Higher Female Courses. Solovyov engaged in restoration of the temple of Vasily of the Blessed, Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin and other architectural monuments. In this book included all the surviving architect buildings. Detailed descriptions of each object are complemented by modern photographs of facades and interiors, archival photographic materials, many of which are published for the first time, as well as engravings, plans and drawings
