The album continues the series produced by Publishing House Rudenzov, with the support of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the city of Moscow and dedicated to the masters of the Moscow and Russian architecture, and introduces the works of Russian architects of the XIX century Mikhail and Konstantin Bykovsky. Father and Son Bykovsky are bright, but poorly studied representatives of the era of historicism. Mikhail Bykovsky is the founder of the Moscow architectural society and the creator of many beautiful architectural monuments. His authorship owns the building of the Exchange on Ilyinka, the Resurrection Temple of the Pokrovsky Monastery, the Temple of the Trinity of the Library to Mud, Manor Marfino and others. The buildings of his son Constantine, no less talented architect, refers to the clinics complex on the maiden field in Moscow and the complex of Moscow University on Mokhovaya Street. In his work, the father and son of Bykovsky responded to the features of the town-planning development of Moscow, a lot of attention was paid to the technology of construction, the use of advanced achievements of modern science in combination with the adaptation of the historical experience of technical and unique artistic and stylistic solutions
