The publication was prepared for the 60th anniversary of N.I. Shumakova - Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Academician MAM, a member of the Union of Artists, Honored Architect of the Russian Federation, President of the Union of Moscow Architects. The works of this architect are well known to many. Shumakov designed more than 20 metro stations in Moscow, metro stations in Rome, in Myanmas, Omsk and Chelyabinsk, the railway and road bridge across the Dnieper in Kiev, the Tolerance Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, the largest Vnukovo-1 airport complex in Europe and much more . And its picturesque canvases are independent, original and endowed with their own energy and expressiveness
