Objects made of limestone form a numerous group of archaeological finds stored in museums. This diverse collection of monuments includes various types of burial structures, with the most common being gravestones in the form of steles, slabs, crosses, and sarcophagi. Circular sculptures, epigraphic monuments, fragments of architectural decor, items of cultic significance, and other products are also made from this natural material. Despite researchers' interest in various types of archaeological finds made of limestone, questions regarding their conservation and restoration remain insufficiently studied. Therefore, this monograph is dedicated to methodological justification, analysis, and the development of practical recommendations for the preservation of archaeological finds made of white stone (limestone).
