Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles (that's how he called himself, the apostle of languages - that's how his contemporaries called him), in the 1st century AD created a new, spiritual universe. Paul, and primarily he, according to the words of John Chrysostom, filled in the missing parts of Christ in the world. Understanding of a person, of him as an ideal to strive for, understanding of his inner self, understanding of his gnoseology and psychology - all of this, so important for pedagogy, was expressed by Paul in a formal language. European and Russian pedagogy (based on Christianity) owe to the apostle Paul the focus on the internal, spiritual life of a person in education.
