The book presents the results of perennial (1979-1996) studies of Zooplankton Lake. Pleshcheevo - a unique monument of nature and the history of Russia, performed under the program of complex expeditions of the Institute of Biology of the Internal Water of the Russian Academy of Sciences. For the first time, the most complete characteristic of the zooplanktonic communities of Pelagiali and Lithuania Littlebus was determined, the changes that have occurred from the beginning of the 20th century were determined. until now. The composition, vertical and horizontal distribution of planktonic organisms in the annual cycle, some features of mass -species biology, seasonal, intragodia and intersopathic dynamics of zooplankton were studied. A productal assessment of fodder crustaceans is given. According to the types of saprobism, the quality of water in the lake is evaluated. A comparison of the zooplankton lakes Pleshcheyevo and Nero as water bodies of different trophic types was carried out.
