In his new book, Petr Ivanovich Bagin - an artist and writer - continues to introduce children to his favorite topic: wonderful creatures of nature - animals and birds inhabiting the forests of Russia.
The author tells how to distinguish a wolf from a dog, a lynx from Wolverine, a white hare from a hare-rusak, as in the appearance of a hole or nest to find out who lives here, how to “read” the tags left on the trees by the bear or tiger, etc. The book contains many interesting stories: Kabanov’s bathing baths, booster milking, Medved-fishing, birds with bags, badger settlement, “Pokatushki” otters. Particularly good family sketches: mothers with cubs. Even if the pictures are not idyllic (the lynx caught the hare, the tiger grabbed the wild boar, the eaglest was aimed at the claws on the raccoon), they do not look tragic and will not bring the little reader to tears: the child will understand that the inhabitants of the forest live their difficult lives and act in accordance with in accordance with their innate instincts
