Childhood of a wonderful Russian writer Olga Vasilievna Perovskaya (1902-1961) took place in amazing corners of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, off the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul. "Guys and animals", "Jan - the eyes of the hero", "marching" and other works were in love with little readers. Together with her husband, children"s writer Grigory Emelyanovich Zamchalov, who died in the Great Patriotic War, she wrote the novels "Island in the Steppe" and "Golden Fleece".
