When we find ourselves in a new unfamiliar environment, it often at first seems to us uncomfortable and unfriendly. This also happened with a hamster Sigismund: one beautiful morning he was a direct flight in the claws of the hungry eagle from his native steppe into the wild forest. Huge trees, unknown berries and herbs, unfamiliar animals, who seem to be hostile to a stranger ... And somewhere far, far there was a cozy warm hole. Yes, there is why to be depressed here! But the Hedgehog Afanasy comes to the aid of the hamster. Hedgehog helps him get comfortable in a new place, teaches to grow cabbage and walk for mushrooms, treats with delicious raspberries. In different stories, funny, and sometimes dangerous, Sigismund also gets acquainted with other inhabitants of the forest. They dissuade him to return to the steppe and help to equip a new home. And now Sigismund begins to think that there is no better place for the forest - after all, friends live here!
