The book includes monitoring of rare and endangered species of insects conducted in 1994-2013. On the territory of the Central Caucasus. Information about the detection of species is given, descriptions and drawings of 60 species that need protection are given. The list of insects of the Red Book of the Stavropol Territory 2002 and its addition to 2004, and the Red Book of the Stavropol Territory 2013 were critically revised, new data on the spread of biology, ecology, numbers and factors affecting it are given.
