The sections of the anatomy and physiology of the reproduction organs, modern technologies and methods of artificial insemination of animals, physiology and pathology of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period are presented. The issues of immunological relationships in fertilization and pregnancy, the relationship of the nervous, endocrine and immune systems in the regulation of homeostasis are outlined. Information is given on obstetric therapy, diseases of the mammary gland, gynecology and andrology of pets. Changes and additions have been made to almost all sections of the textbook. At the same time, its individual sections and subsections (extracorporeal fertilization, auxiliary reproductive technologies, ultrasound diagnosis of pregnancy, etc) are stated for the first time.
