The training manual summarizes the domestic and foreign experience of the “cold” method of growing calves in dairy cattle breeding, presented the results of research conducted by the author on the problematic issue. Attention is drawn to the physiological characteristics of the body of grown calves with a “cold” method, the system of feeding animals at low air environmental conditions is detailed. Separately, the issue of veterinary sanitary measures is covered in the receipt and cultivation of calves, the role of colostrum in growing healthy calves.
