“Andromeda’s nebula” (1920) is the scientific-fiction and philosophical novel of the German writer Fritz Bremer, who had a short but noisy success after his release. One of the alleged sources of the novel of the same name Ivan Efremov. Dedicated to the study of the extreme capabilities of man, spiritual and physical, as well as an attempt to predict the likely path of development of earthly humanity as a whole. The hero of the novel makes a trip through space and time and enters the society of the future, organized on impeccable rational principles. A meeting with human creatures is admirable, but in the end he seriously disappoints and leads to a life and love tragedy
