Marek Edelman (Mind 2009) - the head of the uprising in Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 - released the book "and there was love in the ghetto". She represents his story (recorded by Paula Savitskaya from January to November 2008) about life in the ghetto, that - as he himself says - "and there, in inhuman conditions, people experienced wonderful minutes. Edelman believes that it is necessary, following the Old Testament Commandments, to teach (especially youth) what "evil is evil, hate - evil, and love - duty". And his book is such a lesson, taught in a bright, undisguised form and that produces an unusually strong impression on the reader.
The book includes the preface of the famous Polish writer Yatsek Bokhensky, the speech of Edelman at the conference Polish memory - Jewish Memory in June 1995 and the list of people mentioned in the book with brief information about each. I am already the latter who knew these people by name and surname, and no one more is probably remembered about them. It is necessary that some kind of track remain from them
