The book considers ancient Russia as a historical and cultural whole throughout the X-XVII centuries. When developing an approach to the object of study, the author considers the Christian concept of conscience as a kind of vector indicating eternity, as well as the coordinates of the speculative space in which this vector is placed. Then he traces the reorientation of public consciousness in Ancient Russia, starting from the moment of its Christianization. The book speaks of the emergence of Slavic writing, about the assimilation of Christian culture, about its chronicle, about the Orthodox revision of the XIV-XV centuries, which so strongly influenced the revival of Russia after its defeat Tatar-Mongols and the subsequent section between the Golden Horde and Lithuania, about the Old Russian saints and their distribution in time, about the social topic in ancient Russian literature, the evolution of Russian missionary and about the present -time of ancient Russia of the present tense throughout the world.
