The manual was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum for human anatomy for higher educational medical institutions. It contains information on general and private myology. The material is stated briefly, concisely, according to the response scheme adopted at the department of normal anatomy of the Military Medical Academy. The publication provides a classification of muscles according to their topography and development. As you know, the laying and further formation of muscles is associated with their innervation, therefore, this principle of classification is especially important for the subsequent study of the issues of neurology.
This manual presents a characteristic of the basic anatomical-topographic formations and their contents. These data will subsequently be in demand in the process of studying clinical disciplines, and will also summarize the knowledge gained during training at the department of normal anatomy and ensure the formation of a holistic representation about the structure of the organs of the musculoskeletal system. The publication has amended in accordance with the international anatomical nomecratus.
To simplify the presentation of the material, the vertebrae, which are a place of muscle fixation, are given under the Latin abbreviation, corresponding to the first letter denoting the spinal column, the serial number of the vertebra is indicated by the corresponding Arabic number.
The manual is designed for cadets and students of faculties of training doctors, students of faculties of advanced training, it can be used by clinicists of various specialties.
