The manual was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the educational program on human anatomy for higher educational medical institutions. It contains basic information on the anatomy of the spinal and brain.
Edition prepared to systematize the knowledge gained during practical exercises, which does not exclude independent work with the textbook and atlas. It is intended to facilitate the preparations for the offset on the anatomy of the central nervous system and the examination of the human anatomy.
The manual includes modern ideas about the extrapiramid and limbic systems, the peculiarities of the organization of the reticular formation, which is dictated by the current level of development of neuromorphology and clinical neurology requests. Latin terms are given in accordance with the International Anatomical Nomenclature (2003).
